Compassion Fatigue for Carers

Fulfilling a caring role for our loved ones is a natural by product of loving them, and is often something we do naturally. We don’t always recognise that we are fulfilling the role of a carer as we are simply being a parent, partner, child or friend. It can feel like we are running on empty and that we don’t have much more to offer.

This workshop will explore how we maintain our sense of self and wellbeing while continuing to offer compassion and support to the people we care for without burning out.

Eligibility: For people with a mental ill health lived experience, carers or service providers within South Western Sydney.

Date: Wednesday 23rd March Time: 11:30am to 1:30pm

Venue: Fairfield Youth and Community Centre, 55 Vine St, Fairfield
