Mental Health Recovery: Advancing Your Wellbeing Knowledge

Introducing our new ‘Mental Health Recovery: Advancing Your Wellbeing Knowledge’ 10 week course!

This course builds on the knowledge developed in ‘Mental Health Recovery: Using a Wellbeing Approach’ course and is designed as an extension for those who have attended at least 5 of the topics within the first course. This course will be delivered face to face at Bankstown, Camden and Tahmoor. If face to face workshops isn’t possible for you you can complete it online at your own pace and at a time convenient for you.

Some of the topics we cover include: Understanding and Responding to Trauma, Exploring PTSD, Exploring Anxiety, Exploring Schizophrenia, Exploring Addiction, Exploring Stigma, Healthy Relationships and Effective Advocacy.

Eligibility: For people with a mental ill health lived experience, carers or service providers within South Western Sydney who have previously completed at least 5 weeks of the Mental Health Recovery: Using a Wellbeing Approach (formerly Understanding Recovery) course.
