Exploring Inclusivity for LGBTQIA+ People with Disability presented by Wellspace Australia

LGBTQIA+ People with Disability may experience discrimination, have fear of others reactions and be working through their identity. The current lockdown and Covid-19 restrictions can also add extra stress to existing experiences of social exclusion and isolation.

This session will explore how social support is a key component to an individual’s recovery journey and how mentoring models promote the development of meaningful relationships with other like-minded individuals, reducing social isolation and increasing visibility for people with a disability within LGBTQIA+ communities.

Eligibility: For people with a lived experience, carers or service providers who reside or work within South Western Sydney.

When: Monday 18th October
Time: 9:30am to 10:30am
