Exploring Inclusivity for First Nations People with Disability presented by
Wellspace Australia

First Nations people with disability may experience intergenerational trauma, discrimination, racism and may be working through their cultural identity. The current lockdown and Covid-19 restrictions can also add extra stress to existing experiences of social exclusion and isolation for First Nations people with a disability.

This session will explore how social support is a key component to an individual’s recovery journey and how mentoring models promote the development of meaningful relationships with other like-minded individuals, reducing social isolation and extending support networks.

Eligibility: For people with a lived experience, carers or service providers who reside or work within South Western Sydney.

When: Monday 18th October
Time: 10:30am to 11:30am
