Mindfulness in Nature Walk

Join the SWS Recovery College team in a mindfulness walk through nature at Simmos Beach.

Being in nature is a great self-care strategy that supports emotional wellbeing by reducing stress and connecting with trees, plants, water, animals and other natural elements.

Participate in activities that explore the 5 senses during a gentle, easy walk.

Afterwards, enjoy a BYO picnic lunch with fellow mindfulness walkers.

When: Thursday 29th September
Time: 10:00am – 1:00pm
Where: Simmos Beach, Fifth Avenue, Macquarie Fields 

Bring: Bottle of water, own picnic lunch eg sandwich, insect repellent and sunscreen, sun safety clothing 

For people with a lived experience, carers or service providers who reside or work within South Western Sydney.
